Poverty Eradication key in ending Child Marriage

This is the scenario for many families in Zimbabwe who are living below the poverty datum line and existing on a $1 or less per day.  Girls living in homes where there is high household poverty find themselves out of school and forced int child marriage by their circumstances.

We are currently supporting 20 young women (child and former child brides) from Annandale Farm in Shamva to do a vegetable livelihood project that enable them to meet their every day needs and that of their children. Some aspire to go back to school and we hope to expand this project so it can bring in income that enables them to do that.
